Foundation (day 2) - April 14

The masons were here Saturday morning and produced more walls.

We received an afternoon visit from Ty Allen, who did the design of the structure and was very helpful with suggestions and ideas. He plans to return for the timber frame raising.

Our resident supervisor (Suki, the Siamese) inspects all parts of the job site after everyone leaves for the day. Here she checks the Monday morning supplies ... so far, she reports no major problems.

Our display of orchids for this spring... They present a welcome, long-lasting promise of the summer to follow.
