Marcia earns some "sweat equity" in our project. We moved all the residue from cutting down bushes on the hill site and the 40-year old marine locust tree.

Two of our regular helpers join the effort. Billy and Steve have been helping us since they were teenagers (some 20+ years ago). Billy's uncle took the main branches and trunk of the tree ( between 2 and 3 cords of wood) to start his fuel supply for next winter.

The tulips are starting to bloom. These are underneath a young marine locust in the middle of the back yard.

More tulips and other spring flowering bulbs: This raised garden is at the neck of the driveways to our two barns and welcomes visitors to the back of the property.
