Rough and Ready

Jim Burgio continues to rough in the copper pipe for the new bathroom. Fortunately, the connecting water supply is behind the wall to Jim's back. In the picture he is soldering connections for a new water line.

Tad is centering the windows. In the original placement, the side panels on the south side had been switched, and the openings were consequently askew.

The ground is ready for planting with a warm weather forecast ahead. After raking, Bill is preparing planting rows for onion sets.

Marcia is planting the sets. We usually harvest about 200 onions in the fall, and they last us through the winter. She also planted some spinach. It is always a happy day when the vegetable garden is started.
