Finishing Days

Electrician Brett is working on final installations. The fan at the west side of the ceiling and one of the monopoint floodlights are ready to go. Soon we will be able to test the electrical connections.

Carpenter Tom is building the baseboard perimeter. He has worked for New Energy for about a year and brings many years of varied construction experience to our site.

The boxed-in baseboard finish takes shape.

The reclaimed Douglas fir and the rectangular shapes meld well with the corner timber frames. We are pleased with the result.

Inspector Suki is waking from her afternoon nap and assumes her "inviting attention" position. Like all cats, she is very adept at indicating when (and when not) she desires human interaction!
