The first Thursday of the month is the regular meeting of the Rochester Area Fiber Artists group, and we had a good turnout with over 30 members in attendance for the March meeting.

While the group

has flourished with having a pretty informal structure, time was spent at this month's meeting on starting to formulate a mission statement. Several ideas were listed, and these will be prioritized by the members for discussion at the next meeting.
On

e of the fun meeting activities -- admiring/fondling embellishment items acquired during one of our member's overseas trips.
No meeting is complete without Show & Tell. This spectacular appliqued piece was purchased from a tent maker by Pat Faulkner on her trip to Egypt.
