RAFA Opening

Our postcards were sent out, announcing our current show of work by members of the Rochester Area Fiber Artists, and inviting all to our opening reception.

My piece, "Jacob's Coat", is in the center of these pieces.

Nancy Hicks is adding her contribution to the table of tasty goodies that everyone contributed. Our centerpiece of toy sewing machines was provided by Janet Root.

Jeanne Simpson did a wonderful job of organizing the reception and her husband, Mark, served the wine.

We had a wonderful turnout, especially considering that the outside temperatures were in the single digits. The approximate count of visitors was around 220 -- a record number for an opening at the Arts Council!
