About Face

"About Face - the fabric art of Nancy P. Hicks"

Nancy is having a solo show at My Sister's Gallery at the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY, and we were there today to help her with the hanging. The exhibit will be open until May 15th, and the opening reception is Wednesday, April 7 from 5 until 7 pm.

This quilt is "Grandmother's Buttons" and Nancy used many buttons that her Grandmother left in her button box.

This is part of one of the walls with more of Nancy's face quilts.

Nancy included her Kimono quilts and her African squares quilt.

Nancy also prepared a display in the hall case of smaller items that that she has made.
