A Sunday opening

The Made in NY 2010 exhibit opened today with an artists' reception and awards ceremony at the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center in Auburn, NY.

The

postcard for the show indicates that it is open until May 16, and has gallery talks by exhibiting artists on April 7 and May 5.

Here is our friend, Jeanne Simpson, with her quilt that was juried into the show. There were only two other fiber pieces -- one woven and one shibori dyed. Jeanne's piece was the only quilt.
