This was our main agenda for the holiday weekend -- preserving two more bushels of peaches that we purchased in Penn Yan, along with tomatoes from our garden.
Our canning activities have been part of our Labor Day weekends for many years.
We had already canned a bushel of red haven peaches, and these are crest havens. They have a lot of red coloring and are very sweet.
We'll apreciate these even more during the winter!
