Visitors from Portland

Bill's nephew, David, and his partner, Kristina, visited us recently.

David works as the Manager of the Columbia River Watershed and its 30+ dams, most of which produce power. Kristina is an urban planner who is currently drawing up plans for a wind farm project.

We went to Eastview Mall to eat and walked off dinner after a meal at the Bonefish Grill.

David grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and therefore, was familiar with Von Maur, which is based in his home state.

We liked this stuffed lamb in Von Maur, complete with hat and scarf.

David is the son of Bill's twin, Margaret, now deceased. He remembers visiting us on the farm as a young boy and riding in the bucket of the 1968 Ford tractor. We still use the same old piece of equipment in our daily activities!
